Calculus Problem Examples
computational problem. Please help!?
I have a problem saying, to give an example of a divergent sequence (a) n U such that lim as n goes to infinity (abs value) an high (abs value) converges. I'm not really sure what it is asking only and have no idea how to get an example of a problem.
Let (a_n) (n = 1 to infinity) is defined by a_n = (-1) ^ n. This gives a divergent sequence 1, -1, 1, -1, … However, | a_n | = 1 for all n. This is the convergent sequence 1, 1, 1, 1, … Hope this helps!
